This was a test to see if I could replicate various 3D style infographics using After Effects, but without having to use the Ray Trace 3D renderer which is just prohibitively slow (on my machine at least). This means quite a bit of "fudging" but after a while I found it much more controllable than making them faux 3D in Illustrator/Photoshop. I will definitely be doing more of this for future projects.
